With all respect to George Orwell, every person is unique, but some are more unique than others. There has never been anyone quite like Dalla, in this world or the real one, nor will there ever be. Dalla Daggerfelt (a.k.a. Jeff), a former EiE Guild Leader and founding member, recently passed away after a sudden battle with cancer.
After Dalla retired from EQ a few years ago, he still kept in touch with the guild - offering advice, lending support and even recording the official “history” of EiE. Dalla was always willing to do whatever it took to help the guild and was a stalwart leader through several tough times. We remember him as a masterful recruiter for the guild, a “dkp bottom feeder,” and a writer of insanely long (but often insightful) posts. Most of all, we remember Dalla as a fun guy, a respected leader and a dear friend. We are heartbroken at his loss.
We wish his wife and daughter our deepest sympathy and thank them for sharing him with us. In honor of Dalla, we will wear “his colors” - the blue and the green. Dalla will be greatly missed by all of us, the past and present members of Echoes In Eternity.
