A bartender looks up from the bar and sees a pirate with a peg leg, a hook hand, and patch over one eye.
Startled, the bartender asks “What happened?! Just a month ago your body was relatively whole, and now…”
The pirate responded, “Aye, 3 weeks agor a cann’n ball took me leg. Now juss this peg to use. Then 2 weeks agor I gave up my h’nd in a sword duel. Then 1 weeks agor a cursed bird shat in me eye.”
The bartender, perplexed, said, “But you have a patch over it; certainly a little guano would not cost you an eye.”
With a chagrin grin the pirate told him, “Well, it were my first day wit der hook…”

Finishing up an expansion in EQ, in this case The Serpent’s Spine, is always cause to stop and reflect on the “lessons learned” over hours of fighting and flagging. So what did we learn this time?
Armed with our new fashion sense, we decided to actually finish an expansion before the next one comes out. Leaving mobs unkilled is sooooo last year!
No family picture with the dragon’s corpse though. We were all too busy at band camp. Anyone who doesn’t believe me hasn’t seen us playing marching band. Let the Ogre’s dot the “i”!
