Pellucid Grotto : The Unburrowing 08-04-10

I have to say I really enjoyed this event and I’m glad we finally worked out a strat that works for us and we were able to beat this. I still think we should of just brought the Raid along the first time, would of saved us all a lot of deaths. We had lots of fun letting our knights and chanters die the most, you guys get double dkp!

OK so you might look at this picture and think to yourself ‘I don’t know whats going on here’. This is what I had to deal with most the night, this was us killing 6 waves of adds over and over and over, yay for the lag.

After all the waves of adds we got to kill these guys and some beetles too.

Then finally we got to Protauris Sithirhin. Now on other attempts we’d get to this part but he was being kited while we killed the Magrix. Before tonight we haven’t been able to kill all the Magrix and actually hit this guy. But after all the adds and ae’s cast by the other mobs in this event, he was pretty simple and went down fast.

So the Alliance has been making its way through the Underfoot expansion, first was Fippy and then came the Beast. It is a simple event, kill the beast, kill her mate, watch for emotes/audio triggers… Well ok it is a simple event if everyone can watch for emotes but we’ve had lots of practice the last few years with emotes and we are almost there!! Keep working on it people and one day we will all pass this test, I believe in all of you.~

We beat this event on our second day of attempts, first day was 2 attempts to check out the event and the second was a lot more attempts but we did beat it in the end! Was also nice to visit with some mobs we haven’t seen in awhile, like AMV and his DT emotes.

Edge of Destruction 04-22-09

After beating event 6 we played around a bit with Lord Brekt, again 2 attempts on 2 days and then we killed him on the 3rd day completing all the events in Discord Tower. Not too much going on with this one, its only Brekt no other mobs or adds. He hits kinda hard so eats through our tanks sometimes, and he has an AE that our melee are learning to avoid, and then a DT. We have completed the SoD expansion and now have it on farm until the next expansion comes out. ~

The second event in Discord Towers is the Trophy Room. Kinda felt like I was in Tacvi for most the fight but other then that it is …another event with more loot for us! A good bit of adds on this one, mini named, bane weapons, AE’s and the usual.

The third event is Stasis. The later events in this zone just keep getting easier. Kill a couple of mobs, balance Firiona Vie and Lanys T`Vyl down to a certain point then kill Pixtt Curator of Discord and loot.

The fourth event is Scrying. There is like an hour worth of trash mobs to kill in between event 3 and 4. Trash mobs with tons of hp or that like steal your mana. I don’t really have anything to say about this event the mobs were just too happy to give us loot.

The Alliance has been doing well lately. We’re getting first kills like easy and quickly moving on to new and more interesting things. So what’s our secret? Well I’ll let you in on that … it is of course because of Wee Ninjas and their snuggles! Wee Ninjas are perfect for cuddling their quarry into submission.

Wee Ninjas spend most days training, and most nights ninjaing. When they’re not ninjaing, they’re perfecting the art of the Stealth Hug. They’re also quite adept at the Sneak Snuggle, and the Fists of Tickle Fury.

We’re still as busy as ever farming and hitting all our old targets but we’re also hitting some new victims too. Rallos Returns is just one of the new events we’ve tried so far. Will be more updates soon as we’ve almost beat The Fall of Toskirakk too, so stay tuned for more.

A short update this time so I have some more screenshots to share! Here are some more of the always crazy, sometimes confusing, and seriously damaged members of our alliance.

So After we finished off Crystallos, we spent some time farming gear and working on our SoD Flagging Tasks. Sunday we decided to finally check out Korafax, Home of the Riders. Our first attempt on Pallorax wasn’t bad we actually got him pretty low and we killed him on our second attempt for a server first! This was a nice first event for this zone. Just follow Pallorax around to the different portals, beating on him till he was dead.

01-11-09 SoD - Venom Lord Ksathrax -Dead - Server First

The next mob we ran into in Korafax, Home of the Riders was Venom Lord Ksathrax. Again our second attempt at a mob and another server first. Another easy event just fighting Venom Lord and killing the adds that spawn in any one of the five rooms off of his main room, then killing Venom Projection as well when he spawns at 50%.

12-29-08 Crystallos - Kerafyrm the Awakened - Dead - SoF Complete

 SoF Complete, Woo! All in all Crystallos has been nice to us. Mobs just dropping at our feet left and right, giving us pretty shinies to take home. Nothing too interesting about this mob cept for some emotes (I hate emotes that mess with my healing).

Tjudawos The Ancient was next on our to-kill-list. One attempt on this guy was all it took. Don’t get me wrong it wasn’t as easy as it seems. In fact we had to call for help to kill him. As some of you know EiE and DA have a Hello Kitty! guild so we used our connections and got help from the kitty herself. Turns out the kitty doesn’t like dragons much, she also doesnt like Uqua!
